| Re: Sete Gibernau Interesting to see if he still has the Rossi curse. Remember...Rossi said he'll never win another MotoGP race and he didn't...so far. They had some great battles so next season could be good. |

| Re: Sete Gibernau The only way he has a chance at anything is if that Duck he'll be riding has factory parts akin to Stoner/Hayden's bikes. If not, he'll be in the rear with the gear. Satellite bikes are purposely given parts to make them slower. They exist, in today's MotoGp, to simply fill up grid positions. You might recall Zombie besting the factory Ducati squad last year in one race. Ducati said that would never happen again. |

| Re: Sete Gibernau Sete couldn't match Rossi's speed or temprament, he was only good when things were going well, given a problem he fails to live up to expectations. He should try WSB like the other whinger Biaggi. Also its a bit like prize fighting you can't come back. |

| Re: Sete Gibernau According to a recent Burgess interview, Rossi always felt he could win a race against Biaggi and Gibernau if he really wanted to. In fact, he claims that Rossi would deliberately play with Sete just so the fans could be entertained. In the end, Max and Sete probably realised it was true. 2008 was the first season for a long time that Rossi really had to fight for a championship. Quote: |

| Hmm, the Alice squad are continually beating Melandri on the factory Duke. |

| Re: Sete Gibernau I remember Sete being terrorized by Rossi on his ass for 20 or so laps, only then for Mr. Sandbagger to pass him effortlessly with 3 laps to go for an easy win. Rossi is such an awesome rider with the absolute best attitude in the world, which only made it better, because everyone KNEW he was totally playing Gibernau.
Sete was probably on medication and locked in a white room with a color crayon for the remainder of the week between races, scribbling 46's all over the walls in a frenzy... |

Yes, that was an entertaining season. I enjoyed watching Sete get crushed much more than I enjoyed watching the same happen to Stoner this year. It seemed more personal back then, like they cared more... Bring back Sete for more crushing!
