| No Honda @Suzuka 8h 2009 A sad day, that's just in,
Honda decided to withdraw from the Suzuka endurance race this year.
One line on the Kyodo news agency' website,
a short article in the Nikkei but text opens to subscribers only Quote:
Honda Team To Skip Suzuka Motorcycle Race This Year
TOKYO (Nikkei)--Falling profitability has prompted Honda Motor Co. (7267) to decide against entering a team in this year's Suzuka 8-Hours Endurance Race, Japan's premier motorcycle race, company officials said Friday.

| Re: No Honda @Suzuka 8h 2009 Another sad blow. Soon they will all return to racing and it'll be business as usual once again (I hope).
At least they pulled out on a good note, didn't they beat Suzuki last year? |

| Re: No Honda @Suzuka 8h 2009 As far as I know MotoGP and WSBK are all that's left to watch on this side of the pond.
Who knows about British Superbike and other Countries Superbike series? |

| Re: No Honda @Suzuka 8h 2009 At least Honda has said that they will remain committed to Moto GP, as well as WSBK. They say the only other cuts will come in off road racing. |
