It's a whole different ballgame. Even Colin Edwards seemed to be surprised at the power of the GP bikes compared to WSB at first.

Yeah, you wouldn't expect those kinds of reactions from the "gods of motorcycle racing." Really goes to show you how MotoGP is the pinnacle.

Is anyone registered on motogp.com (http://motogp.tiscali.com/en/motogp/index.htm)? They have fastest laps for each rider. You could compare Colin Edwards times this year vs. maybe Alex Barros (for most of the year) last year. Might be a difference track to track too. Tight places like Phillip Island would help the 2-smoker's chances.
