Rumors going (per AMASuperbike.com) around that they are working on a resolution for the Daytona tire issue.

Maybe a 3 pit race! That would be cool.

Or removing the race altogether from the card. That would suck.

I'd rather them not run the Superbikes there then put restrictors on them. Three pit stops would make it more interesting.

BTW NASCAR has enough restictors to go around so keep them there. I thought the point of racing was getting from point A to point B as fast as you can?

It's been said before.....history or not, it's too dangerous to run these bikes on that track. Get rid of the race

I must agree. I think it is too dangerous. It pains me to say so b/c I think it is incredibly exciting to watch. The pit stops really add a new variable and are fun to see by themselves. I don't think the 3 pit stop rule would help matters any as DiSalvo was only about 6-10 laps in on his tire when it let loose.
