Hey everyone,
Had an excellent day at Donnington yesterday (Sunday 26th July) for Donningtons last MotoGP for the foreseable future. The crowd was massive, somewhere around 90 to 100 thousand attending. The weather was true British summer, it rained. Although that didn't put a damper on the day. Spirits where high and there was no trouble, as usual at bike events. Some excellent racing and crashing, with no serious injury. My first GP race, and I was happy, didn't even mind the 2 hours it took to get out of the car park (went in a car due to other passengers not being bikers)....
Donnington, as always (I've been there for other events before) put on a great day (despite the time to leave the car park). The crowd was excellent, with unison oooohhhhhs, aaaaagggghhhhsssss and applause. I loved how the crowd cheered the tallented and the local riders. I really hope Silverston can match the day next year...
So I took a few pics. Which are
HERE, nothing exciting, and unfortunately I didn't get a crash in there..
Cheers
Rich
