| Is it Rossi's Championship 2009 ??? **possible spoilers** Just wondering evryone's thoughts on the 2009 MotoGp Championship. I think Rossi is looking quids in for winning. Stoner unfortunately is being dogged by health and bike set-up probs. Pedrosa is having fun as always. And Lorenzo, well I think if anyone can catch Rossi this year its him, BUT Rossi with all that experience has shown the youngster to be lacking on a few occasions already this season...

| Re: Is it Rossi's Championship 2009 ??? Well,Stoner is going to miss races so rule him out,Dani,i dont think has what it takes to pull the points back, although he and Dovi could influence the result, that only leaves Lorenzo,i think he can push Rossi but wont take the title from him.Rossi has the ability to impose himself mentally as well as physically on the track. I'm not a big Rossi fan,but i think he will win comfortably in the end. |

| Re: Is it Rossi's Championship 2009 ??? To beat Rossi you need things to go well - and that isnt happening for anyone else.
I think just about every year the title is Rossi's, then see if anyone can take it off him! |

| Re: Is it Rossi's Championship 2009 ??? watching him go down in turn one at indy and not finishing the race gave lorenzo a big boost. pedrosa went down and even came back to pass a few and salvage some points at least. |

Pedrosa has made a few lately - he might not even catch Stoner! |

| Re: Is it Rossi's Championship 2009 ??? **possible spoilers** Well its certainly taking a turn for the better as in , its making the championship more interesting after 'Indy's' outing
I'm still going for Rossi, but he must be pushing right to the limits to keep Lorenzo behind him!!
Poor old Dani never quite seems to put it together. And just a quick mention for Hayden, nice to see him back up there, and for Toseland, managed to get his thumb out of his ass at last

| Re: Is it Rossi's Championship 2009 ??? **possible spoilers** Well its another 3weeks almost til the 4th October in Estoril, Portugal. Only 3 more GP's after that, I gotta say I think its going to be a tough job to beat Rossi for the championship. But as regards to someone beating him in a GP thats definately a possibility as always.
If only poor young Lorenzo could get Rossi out of his head he'd be well on his way, the lad is so desperate to prove his worth.
Oh well be interesting to see what'll turn up, ya never know

Easier said then done though, as these guys can only really judge their true pace against their teammate, who has (or is supposed to have) the same equipment. |

| Re: Is it Rossi's Championship 2009 ??? **possible spoilers** engine rule next year may hurt the top 4 guys...less power and reliablity will make it a diiferent race season. Couple of engine issues or too many engines used (back grid starting) will make it hard. Qualifying tactics will be different (will try to save the engine but run a few fast laps for good grid spot..meanwhile the set up will be harder to find when not running race pace very often. Look at Rossi in 2006, a couple of mechanical problems plus your standard 1 or 2 crashes in a season will hurt you big time. |
