Yvon was the consummate competitor with a very likeable personality. He gained a reputation (justifiably) for his "win or crash" attitude. I had the privilege of racing with him on several occasions and even edged him out at Riverside once at the finish line.

My hat is off to this family of dedicated competitors.

That was a great read indeed. Miguel is my all time favorite rider. I would like to see him get one more championship, in '04 on the new 1000RR of course.
