Yeah, Laguna held them in the past, but why isn't that track being considered? I'm betting it's not safe enough? Don't know. Alabama is within driving distance for me, hopefully I'll be able to attend. I know what you mean about it not exactly being a motorcycle mecca.

They have done some bike testing at Indy.....I was playing golf in the infield...

Doubtful it will happen unless they go ahead with the planned road course expansion in the NE corner of the track....

Yeah, I edited my original post. I didn't realize they ran that much of the oval but now that you mention it I recall seeing Barichello testing the 'safer' wall coming out onto the straight. No way that would fly with MotoGP.
