Cal-Sportbike January Specials

Good through 1/31/06...

EK/DID/AFAM 520 CONVERSION KITS
Priced from $149.99 to $209.99
http://www.calsportbike.com/cgi-bin/...x.cgi?pid=1439
Increased performance with better holeshot. Drop a couple pounds off your chain/sprocket set, and at the same time re-gear for more torque at the rear wheel. We only carry quality brands, from the entry level EK 520SRX chains to the DID 520ERV3, and hard anodized sprockets by AFAM, just like you'll see on MotoGP machines!

MOTION PRO CHAIN RIVETING KIT
Just $79.99
http://www.calsportbike.com/cgi-bin/...ex.cgi?pid=160
Having the security of a rivet link is much better than using a clip link, and the chain/sprocket sets in the kit above come with a rivet link standard. But why pay a mechanic to do this when you can have your own tool (and loan it to your friends too). This is any easy-to-use kit, and for the hamfisted DIY'ers, we also stock replacement pins aplenty.

VORTEX RACING REARSETS
Priced from $319.99 to $349.99
http://www.calsportbike.com/cgi-bin/...ex.cgi?pid=186
Vortex has long held their claim to offering some of the best value in billet aluminum parts on the market. Their rearsets are stylish and functional, while maintaining solid quality and craftsmanship. Available in silver or black adjustable for most newer models, and silver fixed for older models.

OHLINS SHOCKS
Priced from $649 to $1045
http://www.calsportbike.com/cgi-bin/...dex.cgi?pid=21
Ohlins is still the top name in quality and performance for rear shocks for sportbikes. With applications coming out for many 2006 models already, they continue to set a benchmark in the industry. Most of their shocks are 3-way adjustable and we spring them to your weight before they ship!

GALFER STAINLESS LINES W/HH PAD COMBO KIT
Priced from $139.99 per kit
http://www.calsportbike.com/cgi-bin/...x.cgi?pid=1364
Regardless of whether you have stock or aftermarket brake rotors and calipers, or if you have radial mount brakes or older axial brakes, the single BIGGEST night-and-day difference in your bike's braking performance is done with stainless lines, HH pads, and Motul's awesome 5.1 brake fluid (compatible with -3 and -4). Choose from a plethora of color options!

You're very welcome. I really love my NJK jacket too. That and my Alpinestars Spinner jacket are about all I wear on the street any more...

Re: Cal-Sportbike January Specials

I must be reading the cart incorrectly. It says that the 929 Ohlins rear shock is $396.00 total with a 200-235lb spring... That can't be right.

Is it?

EDIT: Bah, I see that it says "+" 396... whatever that means. So it's bound to be upwards of $649...

Re: Cal-Sportbike January Specials

Ohlins changed their pricing policy and we do not list a price for it. I will update the pull down menu to have no pricing either. PM me for the member price...just FYI, it retails at $1213.

Re: Cal-Sportbike January Specials

What do the other fittings listed do for the bike. the banjo fitting / nut and double bleeder. I'm about to place the order and was just wondering?

Re: Cal-Sportbike January Specials

The banjo fitting is the "hoop" at the end of the brake line. They come stock in silver but you can upgrade to gold or blue. The banjo bolts thread into the calipers or master cylinder. Comes in silver, but you can upgrade to gold or red. The double bleeder goes at the master cylinder and helps if you don't have a bleeder valve on your current master cylinder unit since air gets caught up at the highest point. Comes in silver or gold.
