Svenska looked at where factory and aftermarket billet engine covers had weaknesses and improved on the design. Still reasonably light weight (26 ounces), but with the critical "extra few ounces" of protection where it's most needed.

Produced on a state-of-the-art new CNC machine by staff with 30 years of industry experience building high end custom builder parts, Svenska engine case covers are the new standard in quality. Using only US-spec Alcoa or Reynolds T-6061 aerospace grade billet alloy, Svenska covers have radiused and beveled edges but NOT so much so that it compromises structural integrity. More important, "mission critical" edges are filleted to add significant extra strength where needed.

Svenska Performance engine covers are legal for AMA classes where defined under AMA Pro Racing 2006 Rulebook Page 28 (section 4, subsection I) and P age 20, (section 14,subsection O). They have been further individually approved by AFM Racing in California, and due to the AMA rule compliance should be legal in all other Pro/Am racing organizations. If your organization's tech inspectors request, we will send out a set for inspection upon demand.

Having the security of a rivet link is much better than using a clip link, and the chain/sprocket sets in the kit above come with a rivet link standard. But why pay a mechanic to do this when you can have your own tool (and loan it to your friends too). This is any easy-to-use kit, and for the hamfisted DIY'ers, we also stock replacement pins aplenty.

Does Svenska have any ambitions to expand their product line (i.e. Honda case covers)? The black would look hella sweet on my 954.

The next ones coming out will be for 06 R6 and for Hayabusa. There won't be any produced for the 954 though, sorry.
