anti theft ideas.

what would be the best size chain to get to lock my bike up to a pole in public? would 3/8 be good? or should i go bigger? and wheres a good place to get it? and one more thing. anyone have any good ideas to prevent theft of my bike? what all should i get to prevent it from being stolen?

Don't just get a generic chain - they can be cut in seconds. Spend some coin and get a decent motorcycle one that's been hardened.

Have a wall mount for it, and make sure the chain goes through the bracing in the swingarm. If it's just in the back wheel, a couple of tools later the back wheel is off and so is the bike on a trolly.

If the bike isn't braking properly, you don't start by rebuilding the engine.

I wish there should some kind of tracker in bike. Which are affordable to anyone. Because the bike stolen crime is increasing day by day. The authorities should make some strategies to caught the thieves. Now they are also updated with the technology and they adopting the new ways to stole the bikes. Their thinking is 10 steps faster then any normal person.
I request from all of you to find some ideas or stuff which can save the bikes from them.
