If a person is prepared to take a life, then that person must be prepared to give a life. Killers these days are getting away with minimal sentences, whilst the families are put through life long grief. Its not right in my eyes.

| Re: Theft ring busted in FL! I was liking the 900rr...i hate thieves.
My problem with our laws would be that these people go to prison (on our taxpayer dollars-which makes honest people victims even more) and than the actual victims of the crime end up paying because their insurance goes up, they probably paid a deductible and than insurance is higher for the innocent victims and other motorcyclists. In the end who knows what the thief had to pay? They need to figure out how to make these guys pay not innocent victims. Much like a burglar breaking in and getting cut and yet they can sue you or get bit by the homeowners dog and sue??? It is nuts that not only the victim pays but that thieves get away with the bs! |

| Re: Theft ring busted in FL! Speaking of the whole B&E and suing because of resulting injuries, I've heard of that happening, but does anyone know of anyone actually winning such a lawsuit? I'm still amazed that the lady who spilled McDonald's hot coffee on herself actually won.... |

| Re: Theft ring busted in FL! I can't find a link but I've seen it a few times, either being shot, cut by glass or bit by dog.
Stupid things happen and it's quite sad here in the states that they happen. I was told by a small gun shop that if someone breaks into my house you never shoot to stop them or to slow them down. He told me you have to shoot to kill.
Who would have thought spilling HOT coffee on YOURSELF would burn you? |

| Re: Theft ring busted in FL! I wasn't pleased with my LoJack only because I realized it was stolen like an hour and a half after it went missing and I still haven't gotten it back yet. I do recomend LoJack but don't fully trust it alone. My advice is to spend the money and get an alarm as well. |
