My bike was stolen...

So two nights ago i was warming my bike up in the garage, and i went inside to answer the phone while it was warming up and some crack head (yes a crack head, bc it was this guy that robbed the dentist office next door and saw my bike and took off) stole my bike...

i filed a police report, but they said theyres not much they can do. I didnt have another car to chase the guy down, and i still have no other mode of transportation...

i feel completlely helpless...someone say something to make it all better

Wow, sorry to hear that. At least it was not a bike-jacking.

Sorry to hear bro. I've lost a bike too.

But think positive you will never do that again, live and learn.

Re: My bike was stolen...

So he robbed the dentist office and used your bike for a get away vehicle?

Sorry to hear about this bro, hope you had comprehensive(theft) coverage on your insurance.

Gave you some rep to make your day a little brighter.

Surely insurance won't pay when you leave your vehicle open with the key in the ignition?

So if you got bikejacked they wouldn't pay because the key was in the ignition? A motorcycle is always open, I would tell them I feared he had a gun so I ran inside and he stole the bike.

Handing over a vehicle because of threats is a different situation.
I'm sure that telling lies on the insurance claim and Police report is a no-no as well :-)
