2010 Orange and Silver blade - stolen AGAIN!

Your going to love this!

In a follow up to this thread 2010 Orange/Silver Blade - gone in broad-daylight

I had it back and running about 2 weeks and it was stolen again from West London (Stockley Park Arena Car Park). Security watched them do it and did nothing. Only distinguishing part of this bike is the Taylormade exhaust so keep your eye out for someone offering you a cheap one.

*Most* of the bike has been recovered by Tracker/Police but I am yet to hear any firm details. Its currently at Perrivale pound, along with the van it was in, being fingerprinted.

edit: The police are 99% sure its not the same guys who stole it last time.

Re: 2010 Orange and Silver blade - stolen AGAIN!

That is a joke, so much for security.

If I were you I would be thinking about getting rid of that bike, or keep that one safely locked away and get a hack to run around on.

Won't surprise me if the "guard" was an inside man.

I guess it's a case of 'get what you pay for'. Security guards do not command great salaries. Still not acceptable though.

Re: 2010 Orange and Silver blade - stolen AGAIN!

FFS Stuza, you must have run over a black cat mate

As DD says, get a cheap hack run around, I used to have a lovely 250 SuperDream when I worked in the centre of Birmingham.

Your luck has to change mate................although don't forget, there are scumbags everywhere.

Sometimes I wish I was a faster rider, but there's no heroes in the graveyard..............

Re: 2010 Orange and Silver blade - stolen AGAIN!

Feel for you mate.

I had Buell XB12Ss a couple of years back and that got lifted. I got it back but it cost me an arm and a leg to fix it.. little sods took a power saw to the front light housing to get at the ignition barrel.

After that I started carrying a chain with me and whenever i went out i always parked somewhere that i could anchor it to. it's a pain in the ass hauling the chain but i'd rather that than finding my bikes been lifted.

Re: 2010 Orange and Silver blade - stolen AGAIN!

Its no consolation but you might need to get a daily scruff hack, keep your good stuff for riding and out places where prying eyes are scoping it out.
They should make some sort of dye pack device that goes off on the rider when a bike is being moved or used without an input code.

they do. its called a .45 ACP bullet, makes a nice blood splat. I think all thieves should be hung by thier bits and beat to death with baseball bats.

Re: 2010 Orange and Silver blade - stolen AGAIN!

Thanks guys, I am back on it .... tracker worked again! Can't believe what idiots these thieves are.... they see a tracker, rip it out and leave it on the workbench with the rest of the bike.

DAH! It has a battery backup you morons....

Anyway, it was rebuilt into pristine condition and has been theft free for a few months now! Mind you, the garage is now like fort Knox and its got an Almax 4 chaining it to a portacabin support leg at work.

So, the only chance they have to get it now is when i'm at lights or petrol station.

Re: 2010 Orange and Silver blade - stolen AGAIN!

Wow Stuza! I'm really glad you got your bike back! Hopefully they didn't sully it too much.
My buddy has two hidden camaras for his garage now. Someone tried to rip him off too, but neighbors saw the vehicle the scumbag got out of, my buddy knows him, and paid him a kindly visit.

Thieves can be ballsy, and incredibly stupid!

Re: 2010 Orange and Silver blade - stolen AGAIN!

heh - I've NOW got email alerting and video recording CCTV x 2 cameras, baby monitor listening in the garage, a full on house burglar alarm on the garage, padlocks on both doors and boarded up the main window (how they got in the first time)! On top of the bikes disk lock, alarm and tracker.... really can't do much more!

Wish I knew where they lived.....

well one of them is now behind bars in poland doing 8 years on an extradition warrant, the others? Still roaming the streets.

Awesome to hear you got it back, again. that's a great story, worthy of being on "World's Dumbest Criminals". I only hope that if my bike ever gets jacked they are as stupid as the guys who took yours. Going out to the garage now to put my disc lock on...
