| Sideshow bobs fighter (a work in progress) Here’s my ..Errrr… Streetfighter (work in progress) I brought her in 2001 as a basket case from a breakers yard….. She started life as a 1990 Lucky Strike GSX-R750M*… and came to me via the breakers as a sorry looking oil covered rashed monstrosity.. With the sole purpose of being quickly transformed into a fighter to get me back on the road after a sad year long absence….. When I got her, she was known to have some faults...... Broken throttle cable (Replaced….turned out to be misrouted and the cause of the accident that put her in Mr. Breakers hands) Broken indicators (Replaced) Bent/broken leavers (Replaced) Covered in oil/sh!t/mud (washed and removed….. Along with a large mass of hair still connected to a piece of scalp found wrapped around the rear spindle nut EWWWwwww!) Big hole in the fairing and a fair bit of rashing (found not to look that bad once oil cleaned off) Once bits replaced and cleaned I decided to take her for an MOT to find what else was wrong…. …… Turned out nothing.. She passed and I ended up running her as is and the plan to streetfighter her got shelved.. Till I brought my Blade! When I bought my Blade …..it stayed shelved as I was having far too much fun to be bothered with her… so she sat neglected and unused till me and Loopy moved The Plan was revived, then promptly shelved again as Loopy was gunna have her if/when she passed her test……. Soon discovered due to the gixxers size and its top-heavy feel that Loopy would not be able to ride her so the fighter plan was (again) revived……. *before some smart@rse points out Ms were 1991... it a early imported M put on age-related plate Pics.. 1&2 in the begining,3 quick paintshopped idea,4 cut panels,5 bodywork fitted,6 modified seat,7 8&9 risers fitted,10+ current State

| Re: Sideshow bobs fighter (a work in progress) Steel wool and chicken wire works wonders on loud pipes. Just make sure it does'nt fly out in front of the inspector as a mates did one time when he got a canary (noise defect) put on his. Was a tad embarrasing.

I'll ignore your last comment
Have you added a headlight or did you get a day light MOT? Will you be spraying her all one colour?

I can't actually hang anything from the ceiling in that garage, the roof over the years has become a little less water tight and has started leaking slightly.
The workshop roof is too high up and is made from asbestos so I cant really start playing around with that Quote:
