Re: My Completed Fighter Project

If your still looking at gauges, check out the KOSO gauges. They have a small gauge for dual sports you may like. Even the gauges that look big are actually kinda small. I use one on my 929. Works great! I dont even bother with a tachometer. I run a basic high beam , turn signal , speedo , and mileage. It will run a fuel gauge too, but you have to have 10 OHM resistance which I didnt have. Installed a 10 ohm resistor and it still didnt help. I was hoping to get a fuel light warning. I just keep her full every 120ish now just to be safe.

Re: My Completed Fighter Project

Ill snap a photo of my mount. I used their L type bracket hacked it, and painted. Mounted 2 cross bar clamps between the risers and mounted the speedo to the clamps. Works great and easily read. Got me away from relocating the ignition too.

TLS, Koso and Motogadget are the two I'm thinking on at the moment.

I would love to see an image or two of your set-up. Especially interested in how you cleaned-up front wiring, cables, etc. around the speedo. Been laboring over the decision b/c I didn't like the last one I thought I would like.
