More of the fighter owners seem to be from the UK at the moment though.. |

| Re: where you fighters from? As Loopy said, this forum was created by ConqSoft in the US, but as more and more people from over the pond started joining, it has become a global site where literally anyone from all over the world can join (as long as they share the passion for Honda's).
Have a read in the News and Comments Section as you can see the changes over the years.
Most Fighters are in the UK, the numbers over the pond I believe are rising.

| Re: where you fighters from? NE Tennessee here. Just getting into it last winter though. Not into the appearence stuff, just the ride and function. Kinda weird, last 2 bikes have been all engine mods and suspension. With the 929 its been about building it to ride fast on a stock setup and spending less to do it.

A fighter is a Street Bike stripped down to a partial naked bike with custom Face mask (mostly insect like) and Belly Pan Fairing , higher seat with sick ABS Plastic customization ... like this link here The 929 Fighter .
it shows you what is possible to create your fighter ... |

| Re: where you fighters from? Totally agree SSB. (nice work so far on the 900 BTW) As a guy who's had his share of Duc Monsters, I believe that Ducati has made a mint selling factory-made bikes in the fighter style (i.e. M900, S4, now Streetfighter), but they are
NOT fighters.
At best, they are simply very nice bikes styled after the streetfighter.
I'm now on a '93 CBR 900rr and it's so much nicer to ride, especially long distance, than my Ducs ever were. Still love the torque of the twins though.
