| Re: well Depends on how you hook it up. Shouldnt be that much of an issue it your carfeful.
However once you get used to it, or get the bug you may find yourself doing a little here and a little there and realize plastic is overrated except for outright speed in the triple digits. |

Bars are way too high for comfort for me.
And any kind of speed without a screen is just plain annoying.
I even raced an '81 GSX1100 once - right around 180kph I'd find myself sliding backwards along the seat :-)
I've ridden all my bikes with no plastics at all and I find the engine noise annoyingly loud as well.

and I don't slide backwards as i cut my seat down to fit ME.... ... alot of people would have problems* if they try to sit on the gixxer

I do love the wide bars for maneuverability, filtering is loads easier and doesn't stop the knee-down fun either. It does get a bit crap on long boring motorway stretches, where the lack of fairings increases your biceps by an inch every hour!  |
