I'd be looking for a source of cheap ex-race rubber.
Or try some touring tyres.

| Re: Reason To Fight I'm just finishing this up after hitting a van in the rain with it two years ago. He lost me in the street lights and pulled right out in front of me from a side road at the last second. I slid into his back wheel. Shattered the steering head and bent the forks.
Parts are hard to find but a good front clip and perfect frame was found on ebay finally so now it is on the road again and embarassing bigger bikes at The Dragon and surrrounding highways...
Still needs matching paint which is why I didn't buy the cb500 yet... Quote:

I don't have a fighter, although I love the originality of the bikes and check in here often to see the creative pieces you guys are producing. I think "the nod" may just depend on where you live. I always give the nod or a wave and many people return it. The other day some guy pulled up next to me (in my lane) at a stop light just to talk about our bikes before the light turned green. I even waved to a motorcycle cop who was all to happy to wave back, haha. Maybe it's a Texas thing, but I've found a lot of riders acknowledge one another, no matter what they're riding. Anyway, keep giving "the nod" and keep the cyclist community tight. |
