the wiring and Block will just be cut out and replaced (just hope it due to age rather than an underlying problem) Quote:

BUT.....
Sitting on him today I realised that since I've now been riding a couple of years and gotten used to the weight of a bike under me he isn't heavy at all... I could easily lift him off the stand (I struggled with that to start with) and I'm overjoyed.... Realising that today has made me understand there are going to be many more bikes I will be able to consider when I replace mine, although I've already decided I want a Fireblade but this now means I will be able to look at older bikes as well now Quote:

| Re: Dr. Stein grows "funny creatures" Nice one SSB. I look forward to the updates. Have to say tho, I completely agree on the SSSA thing. Its been soooooo done that the original unit all cleaned up without anything cluttering the view of it (i.e. no tail to speak of either) would look really good. The 'blade has got a nice phat arse on it that should be shown off imo. Check out the look of it in the first photo of your post No 36. |

| Re: Dr. Stein grows "funny creatures" Geez, looking at the distance from the main frame there must be an awfull lot of stress on the sub frame when there is a rider, pillion and gear on a bike, especially when you're on the move.

Do you know where that connector led to? I'm just wondering if it had anything to do with the charging system?!
The SSSA as you said has been done so many times, as has the matt paint on the street fighters. I still think both of them look nice (and deep gloss black mmmmhmmm).
The damage didn't look too bad tbh, she must have been a bargain.
Whats on the to do list (apart from keeping HER away from Loopy)
Good Luck
