| Dr. Stein grows "funny creatures" Well.....
Now loopys back in work I can seriously think about my next project......
and although "Thundergod" is still in progress it's mainly tweaking I'm gunna do and I need summut else to tinker with and over the last few days I have been putting some thought into this......
First I've been thinking about what type of Fighter I wanna build?..... .....& every fibre of me is screaming buy a labcoat, hire an Egor, lock yourself in a ramshackled mountaintop castle and build a MONSTER
But not I'm not thinking something like Mary Shelleys sad misunderstood creature. think more, the cartooney reprisentation of said beast*
and in the spirit of Dr. Stein I intend to reuse "bodyparts**", make it bigger and better, then running from the pitchfork wielding yokels when it all goes wrong *I want to keep a sence of fun
**the things I really like about Thundergod

The 750SS is only about 10 mins from where I live...
Are you hoping to achieve something in mind or just starting and seeing how it turns out? Are you looking to build from scratch or complete someones on-going project "your way"? Engine rebuilds?
I wouldn't know where to start...

| Re: Dr. Stein grows "funny creatures" Way to go Bob! I'm very happy I chose the 900rr as a base for my fighter. I'm finally diggin' into my Blade again (V-Rod light/ mount, relocation ignition switch, new undertail, rear tail brackets, etc.) so it seems we will be posting updates to same model at same time.
If you've not seen thread for a while, re-visit this: An Amazing Build in Progress - Down Unda There's a link to Jonathan's complete build log and I think he's done a great job.
Also wanted to let you know I caught your pic and bike in the latest issue of Custom Fighters Mag. Nice one!

Perhaps Adam can post the cropped image of you/ Thundergod from his issue #3.
Jonathan -- the dude who build the Aussie bike -- mentioned that he wouldn't do the SSSA if he had to do it again. I think the SSSA looks really cool, but it's heavier than the stock SA which also looks good in my opinion.
Can't wait to see what you do man.

I suppose you'll be able to sell the fairings for decent money if they are in good nick.....
Good luck with the project, I'm looking forward to the updates / 'end' result (if there is ever one with these things...) |
