| Re: 685+whp Hayabusa holy crap I thought the 505hp blackbird at last years Daytona Dyno Shootout was incredible. it looks like you can barely turn the bars so I guess no turning at parking lot speeds but then again I don't think it ever sees parking lot speeds.

I'm known around here as a closet Busa lover, having ridden three of them over the last couple of years, two of which are owned by a good riding friend. I like Hayabusas, what can I say?
But that isn't a motorcycle anymore. Look at the plenum on the front of the bike. Like you could even put bodywork on that abortion. Then there is the obscene exhaust, that wouldn't cause a riot among your neighbors or attract the local police at all, now would it? And the power it's putting out would be anything but useable. I'd wager a guess a CBR1000RR would ultimately be faster just because a guy could actually stay in the throttle on the smaller machine.
They built that bike for dyno bragging rights, nothing more. It's not a motorcycle any longer AFAIC. |

| Re: 685+whp Hayabusa I dont think it would be obnoxiously loud as the turbo itself has a bit silencing effect, although I do agree that the plenum at the front is a bit of an eyesore!
And Damm! it shouldnt be too hard to ride, it only has 185 more HP that the Busa in Ghostrider2!
