Re: World's Fastest Tomato

Don't you have to mod it by putting on a standard length swingarm?
I thought all busa's have an extended one?

Here we go with the nail polish jokes...

Too bad it's not "flat" red.

Re: World's Fastest Tomato

My ridding buddy has always ridden "girl" bikes. Seca 2, F2, SV650, F4i. His last bike is a Zx-7. Same bike his ex rode. But this one has the purple color scheme... sooooooo girly/squidly!!

Last year we ended up stoping with huge group of sportbikes. Only to find a girl riding a blue XX. Just like mine.
I'm 6'4 217lbs. I'm thinking she was my equal in size and height.

I've since stoped the "girl bike" coments.

BTW Chain: Did you take a look at the bird before you decided on the "red" busa? (sorry... did not read the whole thread)

Indeed, but availability on them was so limited around here that I soon marked the big Hondog off my list. (My GM friend at the shop could wiggle alot more on a bike in stock than one he had to go get.)

I contemplated a Viffer for a bit, really digging Conq's bike when he posted about it, but eventually nixed it from consideration as well for two reasons: they only had Asphalt at my dealership (and I wanted to reinvent myself with something non-monochromatic) and I've been told the VFR perhaps didn't have the two-up and/or luggage loaded power I'd crave (two well respected Viffer owners from right here on the board made this suggestion, fwiw).

In the end, the Hayabusa has always captivated my interest. So that's what I bought. And thus far, I am positively thrilled with the purchase.

Btw, I just ordered a couple little ACCESSORIES for the Lipstick Express:

http://store.azmusa.com/venpacsyskit4.html
http://store.azmusa.com/genrisforgsh.html

If I did 330 miles just for fun last Friday and was no worse for wear, I know I can do 460 to the roller coaster roads of the Ozarks/Table Rock area in northern Arkansas. Yes sir, my next moto excursion is in the planning stages right now... fall's such a nice time to tour, doncha think?
