This Busa has an intake cam in place of the exhaust cam, with a 40 shot, and it is the fastest 1300 Busa on the track of all the events I have been too. He also has a 1397 pushing 225rwhp with a 40 shot, and is running 8.50's, so I doubt he is running 8.50's with a stock 1300. And to run the 60 shot, he must have Corrila rods, or he would have already busted the case. |

| Re: Thinking about a Busa, HARD..UPDATE!! Hey, good buy. I'll be looking at Busa's too, when I get tired of cornering.
Anyway, are you selling the 954 now, so you can purchase some new internals and a turbo?
BTW, I heard most straightliners are taking turbo over spray. Is there a huge advantage that you've seen at the strip that one has over the other? |

| Re: Thinking about a Busa, HARD..UPDATE!! Spray is easy, but scary. Turbos are big and more complex, and they generate a lot of heat - but they can REALLY give you a lot of usable power, and they can be set up to build power relatively smoothly whereas the juice can hit really hard. I'd guess turbos would be more strip-friendly. Nitrous just scares me. |
