Rad Greaves 'Busa for sale

You want horsepower? Abtech, didn't this bike hold the track record at Grattan at one time?

eBay

Yep, he broke Greg Gibsons record (set on a piped only superstock 929) by .002 seconds and held it for about 2 weeks . . . Then Larry Denning broke it on the 4&6 R6.

It was fun to watch, especially from your seat going down the straight . . .

That's what I thought. Quite a feat considering the size of the bike.

I love that bike though!

Edit: 'repost' as in this is the second time around for this machine on eBay. They had the reserve set ridiculously high last time it was discussed, something like a quarter mil IIRC.

Horsepower: 256 bhp (Rear wheel), Weight: 375lbs =

abtech, wasn't Rad the first guy to break the 200 mile per hour barrier in competition on a U.S. road course or some such?

Edit: yep, from the auction.. "1st Racing motorcycle in North America to break 200 mph on a closed circuit racetrack on 06/23/2003!"

Superbike Mike had a 1590cc Busa weighing 380 pounds with 417 HP naturally aspirated that he built for someone in Italy. That was indeed scary . . .

I would love to extend those and take it to the dragstrip.

Orient Express has a Busa putting out 450hp, and another big time Busa racer....not sure if its real wheel or not.

Re: Rad Greaves 'Busa for sale

I've seen that at a couple of shows(detroit at least) Nice looking bike glad to see some one actually makes one of those things handle...about time...I am soooo tired of the whole lowered with spinners thing...one of my friend had one and he was pretty good on it, not that they won't go around corners they just need a little coaxing
