| Racing the shop Busa..215rwhp (motor) Best the bike has run was a 8.66 on a 20 shot of spray, and 8.8x on motor, with a guy that doesn't run much. Bike has been apart most of the year, we worked all week getting the motor back together and in the bike this week so I can take it to Rockingham this weekend. Looking to take it into the 8.50's or better!!! Will let ya know how it goes when I get back in town, unless I can pick up a wireless signal there. Maybe he Blade will see a 9.20's run also, we'll see. |

Not the same one. My buddy bought the Busa back. His 1397 spun a bearing so I sold it back to him for whatI bought it for...and I'm a good guy and didn't want him rideless.
This is my shops bike. Will probably be for sale after this weekend. We want to build another one. |

| Re: Racing the shop Busa..215rwhp (motor) Thanks all!
The shop is coming along ok, winter is here now so its slow, but we do have a couple a motors to do.
This weekend was good. Took 2nd again on Saturday out of around 200. Got rained out on Sunday. Last three races of MIROCK series I've taken 2nd place, just can't seem to get that last pass to work for me. Bogged coming off the line so I started the spray; bumped it in first and second, then saw him coming fast so I stayed on the spray from the top of second all the way down then let off the gas before the line in hopes of him breaking out..didn't happen, he ran a 8.899 on a 8.89. I ran a 9.79 on a 9.73.
Best time of the weekend was a 9.68 @ 140....my 60's sucking, 1.59-1.64.
9.68-9.79 times all weekend @ 139-140. Angie McBride had the best time of the weekend of 7.12. |

| Re: Racing the shop Busa..215rwhp (motor) Oh, the Busa. The Busa had problems, we think the transmission might be going out, well, 2nd gear. The auto shift wasn't working either, on full kill it just didn't want to shift. I was giving up on it for Sunday and going to ride the Honda for ProET and Street but the rain came in before my second time run. |

| Re: Racing the shop Busa..215rwhp (motor) Angie is one of the best in the Outlaw class. She runs against Barry Green (World Record Holder in the class), along many other very fast riders.
Record is 7.110 and she ran the 7.12.....Barry Green was saying he should run the first 6.9x-7.0 pass due to the perfect temp they were forecasting. Too bad it didnt happen. |
