I'm back in the saddle again!!!!

HOORAY HOORAY!! I just put my deposit down and on Monday I'll have my new 2006 Suzy SV1000s. Ordered the Titanium color with the optional full fairings. Can't wait can't wait ! Been off of 2 wheels for a year and it was the BIGGEST mistake of my life! But now the universe is in harmony again and all is well. I'll post up some pics as soon as I get her home Monday!!

Re: I'm back in the saddle again!!!!

Congratulations!

If Honda would just take a few guys off of the "make the Interceptor more complicated and ugly" project and get them thinking about something to compete with the SV, life would be better all around.

Gotta agree on that one give me a vfour, RC51 style bike with a clock and a extra trip meter with the same seating and bar angles as my old F3, I'd be all set.

You could have gotten a 2006 CBR600RR for the same price

I'd been looking for somewhere I could use that smiley. It works good here.

Hmmm... Lets do some figuring here..

I'm 6'3" and I weigh roughly 260# so um...I'm not too sure that a 600RR would be the best bet Plus I like a twin, and the price was right.

Mo, the difference is that the V_Strom was ugly to start with.

The VFR/Interceptor has been messed with.

Re: I'm back in the saddle again!!!!

Well, got the first 100 miles in on the SV and all I can say is WOW!! This thing has torque for DAYS and the power delivery is super smooth! I was gonna put up some pics, but my lowers should be here tomorrow so once those go on I'll take some pics. I just put in an order with a friend of mine for a fender eleminator kit, clear integrated LED taillight, Double bubble windscreen, and tank protector. Now if I could just find some flushies for the front and decide on a set of pipes I'd be in good shape

You should see me at least on the Sunday. We get back from Italy on that Saturday so I'll need at least a day to recoup from jetlag.
