I worked so hard on that bike that I was surprised to find I am starting to care about how it looks...I took the lower inner fender off to make it easier to get to the exhaust, and left it off because I can see the shock better now.. does that make me a shallow person? I might browse around for a less alarming-looking tank, too.
By the way, the issue of clipon interference with the tank is gone now.
HG2 and Phobe, thanks for the encouragement on the weight.. there's still a few HP left "in reserve," if you know what I mean. |

| Re: SV getting ready for prime time I lost 1 horsepower.
Had a fitness evaluation tonight and found out that in 6 months I've lost 4 pounds of fat and gained 10 pounds of lean body mass. I've been watching my weight creep up slowly and I was worried that I was getting fatter, so it's a huge relief. But I'll be slower. |

| Re: SV getting ready for prime time I'll be there on the 19th, with my SV650 and the RC51 just in case I don't have the SV650 running right.
I think my wife is coming to take photo's.
Oh my SV is red with yellow plates full race bodywork has R6 air intake on the front. (don't ask it was cheap) |

The RC51 is ready (as it will get), but might be last minute getting the race hawk together. |

| Re: SV getting ready for prime time Not that hard, actually..
I'll be going out with new suspension, new tires, new brakes, etc.etc. I'll be taking it SLOW for a while. Not that fond of hospital food.
I'm hoping to get the sag set before I go out.. Red Rider, can you help with that? |

I don't want to have to do it again and take a chance on missing Fireblades.org Days @ Grattan next month.
Sorry |
