| Torque settings for 2005 GSXR600 engine bolts... My son has a 2005 Susuki GSXR600 and we want to put some frame sliders on it. Does anyone know what the torgue settings should be for the engine mounting bolts where the sliders are mounted?
Thanks in advance for any info you may have.

Kind of curious why you'd come to a Fireblades site for this info... Figure gixxer.com would be a better source... |

that is funny you would ask this. i tried asking around and no one knew the answer. i signed up with the fireblades site a while back and since i have been on board i have learned a lot from others who are kind enough to share their knowledge with newbies like me. i am 54 but have just started riding about 7 months ago. i have a 2004 honda cbr600f4i. i happened to notice that there was an area for other bikes and that is when it struck me to try here. beinmg new to the sport, myself and to son's, we had no idea where to go to get info. i just happened to stumble onto fireblades. glad i did.

louis | Hi Mr.M,
Happy to help. You have probable already found that the .org site membership is a bit more mature than others. Much better information, with little drama. It’s great that Cong set up pages for “other bikes”. Unfortunately the “other bike” pages do not get much action. I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. After all, it is “Fireblades.org”. |
