| LA Busas is in trouble For those who've never heard of it, labusas.org (for Los Angeles Hayabusas) has been one of the larger internet forums catering to Hayabusa enthusiasts.
Recently there's been alot of fear being spread among the members who were talking about being infiltrated by the police. Not a big surprise really, since these guys' reputation was one of alot of illicit behavior; hot parts, drug addled parties, online porn and other indiscretions seemed to be prevalent on the site.
Imagine then, the stupidity of this: one of the board fathers threw a big party. They allegedly blew up a car and were firing automatic weapons. Pictures of the festivities were posted on the site afterwards.
Here's a recent post I copied before someone shut the site down and pulled nearly everything from the servers:
-- Gang,
I just got a call from Dominic, apparently Tony has been turncoated by a viewer or poster of labusas and they have arrested him. Dom wanted to know if anyone here knows anything.
Cops, Sheriffs, SWAT , ATF, etc. raided his home this afternoon, the place where the party was and arrested him, confiscated everything, EVERYTHING and are still there.
Someone called the authorities, according to Dom, with party pictures apparently and provided enough information for the arrest and siezure.
I am waiting for more information on if there's anything I / we can do (I already offered bail $$$ and whatever is required) to Dom.
I'm really upset, this is the worst day I can think of in many years and the worst this board has ever seen. I know Tony is tough and resiliant but this has to be something on a scale even he has not yet encountered. I know you feel the same way.
I'll post when I have more. He's not at the house, so please don't start calling there., the pigs are still there.
if there's anything you want me to do (563) 355-5875 or you have any facts, please call me. There have been rumors that certain peops on this board know who the rats are for fact.
edit: I dont' know who did this. Dom mentioned the party and pics so I wrote (above) that it was someone who knows the board. Although that may be a short leap, it could also be completely inaccurate.

Check 'em out. You won't see much, but it's worth a click to look: http://www.labusas.org
Finally, here's a big THANK YOU to Conq for running a clean show here on our beloved Fireblades.org board. Not that it's overly hard or anything, we're all pretty reasonable people. Everyone here tends to stick together, and when some obvious miscreant arrives trying to sell suspect 954 parts or engage in discussion that's bad for our sport (i.e. stunters and the like), we all see 'em out the door! |

| Re: LA Busas is in trouble I can't say that I am surprised by this turn of events. *The membership there sure included some of this country's less-than-desirable people...drug addicts, criminals, racists, etc. *
I think it is funny that this guy Tim is asking people to rally around some kind of 'FREE TONY!' effort. *If the story is true, the guy deserves to be jailed. *I guess criminals feel empathy towards other criminals? |

| Re: LA Busas is in trouble Whoa thar pete - don't be dissin' the labusa folks you know nothing about. A riding mate is a member and knows loads of professional, honest, hard working American citizens who are very active in that organization and possibly were at that party.
I wonder if having a party on your private property is a personal freedom or an invitation for Big Brother to stop by? |

| Whoa yourself. Reread my post dude, and tell me where I said that *everyone* there is a low-life; you won't find any generalizations, and I am clearly only 'dissing' those that I have seen posting racial crap, drug use/abuse stories, and criminal activities. Also notice that I said 'if the story is true,' which implies 'if illegal activities took place at the party.'
I have three very close friends that own Hayabusas, are 'professional, honest, hard working American citizens,' and are members of that board. Yes, they wouldn't have been at that party, but had they been, they would have left the minute anything started to go bad and possibly reported it to the law.
There is a lot that is unknown at this point, obviously, which is why I didn't make any assumptions or generalizations. |

| Re: LA Busas is in trouble Ironically, it was through Labusas that I heard about this site. I had posted there a few times but for the most part, there was so much porn and bickering between members that it became pointless. Tony is a member of The Motorhead and I believe his story of what happened is there, but I haven't read it. |

| Re: LA Busas is in trouble I always tend to think of conseqences when I'm contemplating doing stuff like firing illegal weapons, drinking and driving, doin dope and stuff that is generally frowned upon by law enforcement. And I certainly wouldn't broadcast it on the internet if I was to do such things. |
