Let's just say Chain hasn't given up modding.

In fact, he may end up becoming a customizer some day. I can't say I like the way this one looks in the back, but he has definitely made it his own.

Sarge's SV bobber! (not 56K friendly)

I like the hooligan, street fighter look. Put some lights on it and make it a patrol vehicle.

Congratulations on a job well done. Whether the looks appeal to people or not a good fab/mod is admirable.

It's definitely unique but I like the black one in that thread much better. Chain's would look just as nice with a small bit of plastic on the rear rather than just a metal box under the seat and that's it.

I think it's kinda cool. Bet it's a blast anyway. Only thing I don't like is the welds on the fabbed subframe.

Yes, the welding definitely doesn't measure up to the rest of the work.

Don't particularly like it, but I don't like black frames either, so what do I know . . .

So how did you go from returning your bike to stock, selling it and buying a V-Strom to hacking the sh!t out of it? http://forum.svrider.com/Smileys/classic/grin.gif

I'm impulsive about my bikes.

I may sell this thing next week. Or keep it five years. Dunno. Pretty much run with whatever strikes me.

Right now though, I'm having a blast with it.
Really?

Wow, he couldn't follow his "less modding, more riding" mantra! Like we ever thought he could! He's taken it to a whole new level now! It's not bad, I think I like the Swedish one with a bit of plastic on the back of the seat, but it's definitely different, and cool. Guess that explains why we haven't seen much of him here. I miss him!

The tail on that black one looks a lot like the tail on the 800cc Honda MotoGP bike.

Holy!!!! I like the front end a lot but the rear.....
Chain couldn't face the ribbing he'd take here for his modding so he's left...shame. He was a good read.

I'm LMFAO at the fact that he said he liked the "stack of dimes" look. He's obviously never seen a real "roll of dimes" weld because that **** looks like bubble gum.

I don't think he will buy a blast ever though, that hasn't made any of his lists.
