My New 07 GSX-R1000 Orange/Black

So I got my gixxer now, ~350 miles on it.

So far mods I have are:
GP1 Exhaust
Undertail Eliminator

-In the mail-
Frame Sliders
Screw Plug set
Puig Smoke Double Bubble screen

I also removed the rear seat pegs to make it look cleaner.

Here is a link to the exhaust ( and it sounds amazing)
eBay Motors: 07 Suzuki GSXR1000 Jardine GP1 dual slip-on exhaust (item 170102935079 end time Apr-22-07 17:39:07 PDT)

I've had it up in the air once and up to 135mph

Kinda babying it cause its still somewhat in the break in period.

And the ECU Mapping feature is actually nice, all it does is makes the throttle less 'twitchy' which is really nice for roads with water, oil, or gravel on them. If you leave it on its 'A' setting you will wheel spin alot. The 'B' setting slows the initial throttle but retains top speed. The 'C' setting slows throttle and lowers overall speed (good for hard rain in country roads)

Anyways thats my input. Ill try to get some pics on here, let me know if anyone wants to see them.

-Ryan

Looks GREAT! Is that the one with the A,B,C maps? How do you like having the choice? Most reviews said they started out loving the different maps till they knew the track and then they never used any but A. How much did those stock exhaust weigh? Big savings in weight I'm sure.

Nice bike, Congrats!

That tail section just looks mean!! I love that body style. 05 and up 1000's and the 06 and up 600s and 750s all have that style tail. Amazing ride dude.

Re: My New 07 GSX-R1000 Orange/Black

Very nice....I called all around looking for a left over 07' black/orange, but I could not find one down here anywhere.

I was able to find a 07' blue/white, so I got a dam good deal on it since it was the last one thay had left on the showroom. It should be in the garage sometime next week...
