07 gsxr 1000 exhaust help

I just got my new 07 GSXR 1000 I am planning on buying a slip-on and i am looking for some opinions on brand. on my r6 i had a devil high mount slip on and i loved it so i am thinking of getting the same for the gsxr. however does anyone know how it will affect the 3 maps that are stock in the ecu and do you have to get a powercommander to go with it or will it be fine with out it. not that i am not planning on getting it just a funds issue right now. well thanks in advance for any advice

Re: 07 gsxr 1000 exhaust help

I'm thinking about the Jardine GP1 for mine. The only problem is that they are hard to find. I've seen a couple on ebay, and there is a youtube vid that shows the pipes with and without the silencers. Its pretty cool looking has two short pipes that come out on the right side. I wonder about the power comander myself, havent crossed that bridge yet. Oh BTW the jardine retails for about $250!

Re: 07 gsxr 1000 exhaust help

I went with the two brothers. thought i would give it a try it ok. it got rid of the 50lb can and it gave noticable hp gain can be exact on hp gain havent put it on the dyno yet. only real complaint it its not loud enough and the ugly snout on the end
