My Hayabusa

This is a 2004 model. I bought it new and have 55000 km on it and still love it. I put a TRE and a 340k speedometer on it. It now performs the same as my 2000 model. At 1500 feet above sea level 15C,87 octane and my solo seat and on board camera, it will indicate 322km. I have not GPS it.

Re: My Hayabusa

It works great for long distance without passenger. However cruising speed can get a little fast. I have made numerous trips from Canada to southern USA and Mexico. The seat is comfortable but after 800 miles a day, my butt was sore. With passenger there is no room for luggage.

Damn that sounds nice. 800 miles...that is. I'm starting to think about the new one coming out. Long distance on the 1K is doable but only enjoyable if the road is curvy.
