2001 SV650S oil capacity?
My bro bought a sv650s awhile back. It is now time to change the oil with some synthetic amsoil. But, we don't know how much it holds. How much does it?

Look on the side of the cover by the oil fill, it should have a number then cc behind it.

If I am not mistaken it is like 3.8 liters.

Thanks. Not exactly my bike...yet. I found out online it is 2.5 quarts w/o filter change (pointless) and 2.9 quarts with filter. Thanks
