a little help here plz

hi i just bought my 1983 suzuki gs 650 um i notcied a oil leak on the left side where the stator is is there supposed to be oil in the left side with the stator i paid 50 dollors for this bike

its been sitting for a while but cranks over nicly if oil isnt supoed to be there is it worth fixing i have the title for it and what is the best spark plugs to get 2 spark plugs work 2 dont thanks

yes its worth fixing...take her to a dealler and get them to do a report on anything that needs repair or replace....then start working on her yr self.

ok thanks every thing works from what i see just trying to find out what are good spark plugs and wheather the oil should be with the stator

i dont know about that model particularly but ive never seen a stator submerged in oil. it sounds like a bad crank seal on the stator side.
