suzuki GS 750 help

I have a 82 suzuki gs 750 with a kantana 750 motor in it. The guy who owned it before me was charging the battery and burnt all the ground wires. So i replaced all them and i have every thing working now but the electric start isnt working and when i try to start it off the starter its self it will turn over but there is no fire, i checked all the other wires for damages but they all seem fine. Is there anything else i could try, any help would be great.

Had to ask!...

Guess you gunna have to start working back with The tester!...
I'd test each line as you go (you never know what else might be Burnt out)

BTW.. The starter solinoids on used to go Ka-put on a regular bases!

Re: suzuki GS 750 help

All ground wires burned sounds bad. That would require a very High current situation through the wires and possibly through some of the electrical components. I sould start with the ECU to ensure it is still good. Perhaps you can put it in someone elses bike and see if it works.
