| Re: Busa Streetfighter Can someone please explain to me the difference between a stunter and a street fighter. As was mentioned earlier this week by the streetfighter himself, he loves to see the look on peoples faces as he tows a streetfighter to the top of Mullholland dr. or whatever road for the sole purpose of blowing the proverbial doors of the fancy shmancy squid boys. Essentially street racing. Do we really need that type of publicity for our sport?

Now, why is it any better to accept a group of riders determined to show how fast they can ride on public roads with no regard for anybody as opposed to another group that does tricks on public roads...and usually way slower with no regard for others?
Please explain Lucy.

First off, I'm not a proponent of stunting. But what blows me away is the prevalent attitude supporting street fighters. On top of that, the answers I'm getting are pretty much "reaching for straws" answers.
It a bike not a rider.
Not all street fighters race.
Just cause I have a street fighter it doesn't mean I use it.
But all these answers are coming from Sport bike riders. And the only street fighter that has posted made it perfectly clear what his intentions are. But still everyone is O.K. with it.
I just don't understand the inconsistency.

Also, am not digging the front brakes. |

| Re: Busa Streetfighter It's just one guy on this site. I'm not prepared to say all streetfighters suck because of him.
The KTM Duke is a streetfighter, and I had a huge grin on my face the two times I've ridden one. |

I just don't understand the inconsistency. | You can't paint everyone with a broad brush because of the actions of a single person.....
Just as we shouldn't assume someone is a street racer because we see them in leathers on a 929, then we shouldn't judge someone for riding a streetfighter.
If I own a sport bike, I am not necessarily a street racer, if I own an assault rifle, I am not necessarily a killer, if I ride a streetfighter I am not necessarily a stunter....why is this so hard to understand?

| A bike won't do anything stupid without a stupid person at the controls. The bike has nothing to do with how and where a rider rides. |
