| Re: Interesting idea for a front stand I guess that pipe stand idea is pretty inventive, but sheese, he saved a whopping hundred bucks. I'd pay that extra amount to get a Pit Bull if for no other reason than to avoid the giant pipe contaption cluttering up my garage. |

| Re: Interesting idea for a front stand I used my Canyon Dancer and the garage door opener mounting brackets to hoist mine to mount my tires. That's a good idea too. |

| Re: Interesting idea for a front stand I've been using one of those for months now. Cost was about $35, but I got a little fancy with the pieces to allow for future expansion. Unlike regular stands, though, it allows for fork/swingarm removal, and can be used in tandem to completely suspend the bike. It also folds up nicely - just rotate the feet until the entire thing is in one plane.
It's possibly one of the best bike tools for the money. |

It's possibly one of the best bike tools for the money. | I actually like this idea. Where does one tie it to though? Frame or handlebars? Been meaning to ask b/c I wanna tackle changing my own fork oil this summer. |

The clamp stays put while allowing the fork tubes to slide out from below. |

| Re: Interesting idea for a front stand That is a good idea. I like it. It's clever. I just use an A-frame ladder with a ratchet strap under the steering head. Yours gives you more working room and is sturdier. |
