929/954 wheels

just hit a 4x4 timber in the road & bent both wheels- guy has 954 wheels for sale- needed to know if wheels will work on my 929. part #'s suggest cosmetic changes between models but axle #'s suggest possible mods to be made with spacers is this true?? asked service manager & he didnt know for certin cuz he never compared side x side- please help hate 4 wheels, wanna get rollin' !!!!!!!

954 and 929 OEM wheels are interchangeable. Only a slight difference in weight. No mods necessary that I'm aware of.....

How badly damaged are they? Will's Rim Repair does excellent work...and it's cheap.

Dang!! Where are they? I've sent my stuff to another source up north before and these guys are bout half the cost!

He's located in Greenville, S. Carolina. I've used him...not only is he cheap but he's fast, too. Many of the WERA racers use him as well.
