| Re: Best Bike Stand I bought a set of pit posse stands off of their ebay store shipped to my door for less than $120 for the combo . These stands are solid and are almost identical to the pit bulls except that they are 1. black only 2.they have dual wheels instead of single and 3.break apart into 3 parts each for easy shipping (2. and 3. are similar to T-Rex). They are very well constructed and my bike feels stable and safe on them.
ps. no height adjustment so not useful for 929rr
I guess pit bull stands are slightly better but as far as bang for buck (pit bull same setup cost = $300+ shipped)... |

| Re: Best Bike Stand Has anyone else tried the pit posse stands?
I like mine but I haven't been able to do a side by side comparison with many others except the T-Rex. I personally like them better than T-Rex stands, because I think the design is more solid and there is less flex. I was thinking of welding the uprights to the u-bent tube to make it even more like pit bulls.

| Re: Best Bike Stand Front paddock stand from Barton Motors
My front stem stand is identical to this (just got it, but seems to work well, and be quite strong)
Front and rear Hindle stands (universal non-spool type rear), and a black jack lift for bigger projects.
Got the Hindle's with the 929 4 years ago, the Blackjack from a friend who was cleaning out his garage (freebie ), and the steering stem stand cost me about $80 bucks. |

| Re: Best Bike Stand Well, I got a call today from T-Rex. I had ordered the front and rear stand and then the front stem stand adapter. They called to ask me if I had really wanted the combo, which is the same as what I had ordered only $20 cheaper. I told them that is what I had in mind and they refunded me the 20 bucks. How cool is that? |

| Re: Best Bike Stand I've been looking at a set of stands from these guys ( GPI Industries Inc. – Sport Bike Motorcycle Stands, Lifts, and Sportbike Accessories ). I found a good review on ********** about them. There tons of guys on there raving about these stands. The thing I really like is that their race stands are desinged from one long steel pipe, so there is no chance for them to bend or wobble like some of the stands that of bolted together. Hopefully I get some extra cash soon so I pick up a set. |

| Re: Best Bike Stand I just purchased the T-Rex front and rear stands for my CBR 929RR. They did not come with an adaptor for the rear swing arm, does anybody know if T-Rex sells this separately? When I ordered the set, it stated in the advertisement that the rear stand would fit my bike. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jeff |

| Re: Best Bike Stand T-Rex sent me their stands with the common adaptors, i.e., even on both sides. I sent them a quick note asking about any special adaptors for my CBR 929RR and they replied almost immediately. In their email, they apologized and insured me that the proper brackets would be shipped. I had them less than 2 days later! Great service, quality merchandise, and quick response; best customer service I've experienced in years!! |

| Re: Best Bike Stand I agree with you on their customer service. They are awesome!
As far as the stands go, the rear it rock solid on my 954. The front is a not quite as solid, but still pretty good. I haven't tried the triple tree adapter yet. |

| Re: Best Bike Stand Pitbull stands are the best stands money can buy, however, I use T-Rex stands and love them and have never had a problem. I've had the bike up on stands for 2-3 weeks at a time without a worry that the bike was going to fall |

| Re: Best Bike Stand I REALLY wanted the Pit Bull stands, but like many others could not justify the cost. I ended up getting a pair of stands from Discountramps.com. I got the Black Widow stands Front & rear for $130 shipped. I am very pleased with them so far.
One complaint I have heard from people regarding front stands is that some of the stands do not raise the front tire enough. The set that I got came with 2 sets of "pins" for the front fork, I am using the short set, and the tire is about 2.5 inches off the ground
Now, remember how I bought these because I could not justify spending the money on the pit bulls? I then decided that I could use the money I "saved" to buy more toys for the bike:-) |

| Re: Best Bike Stand Got my T-Rex rear stand in yesterday via UPS. Set it up and got to using it right away on my F3 as I needed to do an oil change desperately. Works great and glad I heard about them and saved some money. |

| Re: Best Bike Stand I have the Pit Bull Front stand for my '02 954 which fits under the lower triple crown. I love it and it is great for wheel changes. I had a Chinese one that fit under the bottom of the fork tubes, but the bike was not very stable with it. Pit bull hands down. Great for checking your tire pressure at track days, and of course it looks cool too! |

Pit Bull makes the best, most rugged stand around. Probably overkill for many people but it's a buy it once item that will last forever... so it's worth the price! The 'forward handle rear stand' is the way to go - very easy to use and it takes up less space when in use.... no more tripping over the damn handle! |

They are really easy to use and work like a centre stand by attaching to the swingarm pivot, so are much more versatile than a paddock stand - 2 examples being removing the forks or shock.
Just to cheer you up, I haven't got one myself, but my mate does so I can borrow it whenever I need it, so I get to use one for free! |
