Front Brakes Master Cylinder

I purchased all new stainless brake lines and a whole new modern aftermarket master cylinder brake assembly. Installed and bled the system throughly but still no brakes! During the bleeding process I was unable to build pressure buy pumping the brake with the caliper nipple valve closed. The piston in the master cylinder could be cavetating...but it's brand new!

The manual says to put a small block behind the brake lever when bleeding. I didn't do this, could that be the prob???? If so, what is the easiest way to fix.

I need to get this fixed so I can get back on the saddle and cruise!

If the new lines are filled and you're using the correct bleeding procedure, than I would suspect the aftermarket M/C.

Hmm, guess I don't have much choice but to pull it off and inspect.
