Concise description:
* Cluster and starter only gets power when I use the front brake lever!
* Brake light works, but tail running light does not. Headlight (at least the low-beam) works.
* Recently rewired the OEM taillight, since the previous owner had cut the connectors from the harness to use an integrated taillight.
* Also removed crappy blinker wiring, wiring for a flip up license plate, and a crappy left handlebar control cluster. No blinkers for the moment.

Any ideas on where I should start to address this? I've tried redoing my work on the taillight, and undoing the taillight entirely, but no improvement. Plus, it worked just fine on Sunday...

I'm going to say you crossed some wires, something is grounding out..etc. recheck all wiring
