| transporting 2... Here is my truck (Ranger) taking 2 bikes to the track. A lot of you question how to load a bike, where to hook the straps etc. I always reccomend the fronts going to the lower triple clamp using soft ties and the back can go to peg brackets or the subframe. All straps should pull FORWARD, into the chock or front of the bed. The front's especially and the back can go even or forward. In the case of my trucks bed, the hooks are about 10in back from the front so they actually pull only slightly forward so I have 2 sets on the subframe. One pulls forward and the other to the hook beside it, so I have to have 6 tie downs for best security. The bike on the trailer is a friends. As you see the fronts tiedowns clearly pull forward and the rears do slightly. I also let the tiedowns do double duty as points to carry gas cans fold up chairs spare wheels etc. On the trailer I have the ramp secured with metal clips and eyelets on the board and a shallow 'box' for another gas can, secured by 1 tiedown. Slightly visible in front of the can is an easy-up tent as well. The trailer is one of those $220 Harbor Freight ones that has probably over 10-12k miles on it. |

Wrong film!! It was a pathetic attempt at play on words. Trainspotting.
Trainspotting is a "must see" film although Americans might struggle a bit with the strong Scots accents and slang. The film that made Ewan mcGregor a star. The film is funny, nasty, sick, violent thought provoking all in equal measure. Very good cast, Robert Carlyle particularly so. All good. Do make an effort to see it. Trainspotting

I saw the film when it was first released. Good show. Made me want to go out and buy a bag. NOT!
