Re: Question about wiring for my trailer

OKay, here's my problem. I need to wire my van for my trailer, and I have no idea where to begin. I have some existing wires back at the back, but they were cut. I wired up for my trailer, and kept blowing fuses. I was then told that I have a 5 wire set up on the van, but I only have 4 wires back there. Sorry it took me this long to get to my question..... Where can I go online to look at a diagram for my van? Any help would be great. I just don't want to pay the guy at the trailer shop to do something I know I can do with the proper information. Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about wiring for my trailer

Go to your local Pep Boys and find the manual for you van.
They are cheap and may help bail you out again. If you're too cheap to buy one, just check out the wiring diagram in there and put it back!

Re: Question about wiring for my trailer

Thanks for the replys guys, unfortunatly I got the info I need. I have to convert my van from a 3 wire system to a 4 wire by buying a special converter system. What a pain in the ass. I remember the days when you could just cut and splice and you were ready to go. Oh well. Thanks again.
