Not true. There may be other high-quality brands out there, but I bought a set (can't remember the name) to have a spare. Used them once and they slipped. |

Soft straps around the lower triple clamps work well. By pulling forward you keep the wheel in the chock. I have seen people have the front straps pull forward and the back ones pull rearward thinking the tension will keep the bike in place. If that were the case, you wouldnt need a chock! Going over a speedbump or large ruts, I watched the bike jump out of a 2in channel!  |
