| Re: New Wool Transporter Transporter (trailer) Yep looked at some Pace's for $4500 but they were actually smaller and in my opinion poorly made (Journey model) The Dang chinese have raised the price of steel

These are all inside the box by my tape so it is 3" short of 12' box plus an additional 3' minus 1" in the point. 81" tall and wide.

| Re: New Wool Transporter Transporter (trailer) UPDATED OK now questions.
Any comments on the etrack as it lays (I am thinking cut the side tracks and hug the wall
Should I do the entire length later and this start at an edge or install as is for the final solution
the ones standing in front are for strapping in rolling toolbox etc. comments on placing?
I have some dark grey exterior house enamel is the good enough for the floor?
This is going to be my Memorial day weekend project so comments are welcome.

| Re: New Wool Transporter Transporter (trailer) UPDATED looks good to me. I like the idea of the ones in front for the rolling toolbox (you can never be too prepared). As long as you're still gonna do the etrack chock mount I say you have them placed right where they need to be, bolt them down. Of course I assume you've already rolled the bikes in to make sure they both fit side to side with the etrack spaced where it need to be.
I have no idea about the paint for the floor.

| Re: New Wool Transporter Transporter (trailer) UPDATED Drill a 6" hole in the bottom for ice fishing.
I wouldn't want a slippery paint on the floor for fear of a bike falling over while wheeling it in, however unlikely that may be. What about a spray-on bedliner on the floor? You could probably get that done for less than $200.00 |

| Re: New Wool Transporter Transporter (trailer) UPDATED sheepofblue,
Placement of your track will depend largely on the width of your clip-ons, where your chocks will be and what kind. You dont want your clip-ons to hit each other or the sides of the trailer. Thats how you need to lay it out. |

| Re: New Wool Transporter Transporter (trailer) UPDATED Stupid question....the e-track you are putting in....is that bolted down or just screwed down? By the way excellent looking trailer, it will easily be be worth the change put down for it. |

The vertical is getting 1/4" lag bolts and I will probably put them on every hole of the etrack since I cannot use backing washers.
As far as the clipons. I have the chocks on track so I can move them and offset the bikes as needed
Thanks

| Re: New Wool Transporter Transporter (trailer) UPDATED Here is my 6x10...great for 1 bike, but it's a bit snug with 2 sport bikes, not much room left for gear. It's getting a bit tattered due to high mileage....

| Re: New Wool Transporter Transporter (trailer) UPDATED Nice. Have you ever hooked anything in the last 1-2' of etrack by the ramp door? Also I assume chock #1 uses straps on rail 1 & 3 and chock #3 uses rail 2 & 4
Interesting that you finished neither the floor or walls. Would you not paint/stain either again if you had to do it over?

Interesting that you finished neither the floor or walls. Would you not paint/stain either again if you had to do it over? | I boom all tie-downs forward, so I never get anywhere near the last 3 feet of track unless it is something besides a motorcycle.
I have I use the trailer for a lot of other stuff, so I have tied down small machines, furniture, ATV's, etc....but usually reach for one of the D-rings because they lie at the extreme corners.
The paint/stain/tile is probably worth the extra effort...but I was too lazy, and needed the trailer right after I bought it... Hindsight, I would like to have painted it a light color for max light...
You have my chock-to-rail sequence figured out....works for me, but your setup with removeable chocks is probably far more flexible and handy... Here It Is With Two Bikes Inside
