Re: FS:2004 6X12 Car Mate Trailer

Did you use the ceramic (or whatever it is) tiles or the roll out kind? I want to do mine also. Where did you get the materials? Thanks SMTB.

Re: SMTB - Question about your trailer floor tiles.

The tiles look great (I think they use linoleum, not ceramic), but the pressure of the wheels exerted on them when the bikes are tied down, and the kickstand, will cause them to pull up over time. Another option to consider is the spray-on bedliner stuff. I've had that on my trailer floor for a few years now and it's holding up great. It gives a bit of traction, too. Those linoleum tiles will be as slippery as ice when wet.

Re: FS:2004 6X12 Car Mate Trailer

I used the vinyl 12" x 12" squares with self-adhesive backing. They were easy to install and didn't add much weight to the trailer. However, they aren't real durable and can be slick.

Re: SMTB - Question about your trailer floor tiles.

I did not use the "self sticking" ones. I used industrial vinyl flooring. Something makes me think they were made by Armstrong. I got them at Home Depot. 12”X12” squares.
