Creative tie-bar system

The problem in putting my bike on a trailer or in the back of my pickup is the body is just too wide to keep the straps off the huge fairing. Even Canyon Dancers won't work.

I bought one of these over the weekend. I'm supposed to have it by mid-week. Personally, I think it's a pretty inventive solution to my problem.

Re: Creative tie-bar system

I get a bit queasy when I think about all of the force of both tie-downs being put on that one round-bar, and the fact that it's connected to a piece of tubing for which no gauge specs are given.

Also, is there a rubber bushing where that washer sits on top of your steering stem nut?
