Just busting your balls. I used to create stuff in EasyCAD all the time when i was a kid but I'm sure I've lost all of it.

Re: Baxley Chocks - mounting question

I've been using the Baxley LA Sport Chock for two years in the back of my pick-up. Never bolted it down, or mounted it in anyway. Tension from tiedowns is more than adequate to keep it in place. Aslo, I use soft straps to the motor mounts to the forward D rings, so very little compression of the front forks, and no attachment to the clip-ons which can screw up the grips.

I made a fuel-gas distribution map for the Husky Ram River natural gas field in CAD when I was 16. Got me out of shovelling sulfur. AFAIK the map still in use. I'm what's known as an Idiot Savant, leaning more towards idiot and away from savant.

Some guys like them pinned or bolted in the trailer while it's being hauled empty though...

And when I'm away from my truck/trailer out on the trail or track, I'd like for there to be a bit of a deterrent from theft.

You don't think the duct tape is enough of a deterrent...

Just get some old bubble-gum. Once that stuff hardens it'll be there forever.
In fact, I think I still have some on one of my shoes.

Can you reconstitute it and ship it to me for a nominal fee?

No problem, I'll send it US Postal.

In fact, I think I'll stick it to his windshield.

Re: Baxley Chocks - mounting question

I recently got me a Sport Chock and I figured I could mount it with a trip to the hardware store...then I just ordered the mounting kit along with the chock.

Too busy or too lazy to mess with it.

That's the method I use, but with only one tiedown pulling towards the front. I loop it around the lower triple clamp to keep the bike from swaying side to side. Tacoma composite bed floors have a lot of flex in them!
